Reiki is a life force energy which is administered by laying on hands. It has been shown to improve the well-being of people with cancer and other illnesses. However, it is beneficial to everyone who receives it or learns how to practise it. The word "Reiki" is made of two Japanese words which can loosely be translated as "Rei" which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and "Ki" which means "life force energy". The inspiration for this design is the inner third eye which is our gateway to the spiritual world.
